The digital payment platform Paytm plans to expand its education services to students, parents and government job aspirants.
The company said in a statement released here today that Paytm Education plans to expand its presence in the education ecosystem in India, estimated to be over Rs 100,000 crore.It gives private and government instructive offices on its foundation to gracefully affirmation structures, test results, applications for state employments, training and test arrangement, grants, concentrate abroad, aptitude improvement and confirmation projects and acquisition of outfits, books and writing material. Is working with establishments. The company will also provide financial services such as financial insurance, loans and co-branded smart cards to students.
Paytm has been appointed by Railway Recruitment Board, Maharashtra Public Service Commission, National Testing Agency, Indian Navy, Amity, VIT, Manipal, AKTU, Army Public School, Delhi Public School, Delhi University, IIT, IIM, NIT, Aligarh Muslim University, AIMA, Has partnered with ICAI, Narayana Group, Career Launcher, Made Easy, Career 360 and many other reputed institutions. The company is aiming to onboard 3.5 crore users in 20,000 private schools, 1000 higher educational institutions and 1000 coaching institutes.
It is partnering with private and government institutions to provide a variety of services in payment, commerce, financial and educational services. Paytm is already providing fee payment service to more than 10,000 educational institutions across the country. In the current financial year, it plans to cross the Rs 20,000 crore gross market value (GMV) in the education business. The company wants to further increase this trust by providing a one-stop destination for the educational needs of all its customers.
Paytm Senior Vice President Vineet Kaul said that as part of the plan to enable the student and parent community at every step, there is a readiness to give subtleties of 25,000 universities, schools, courses and assessments including installments (in-application and scholastic focuses), Commerce (instructing, grant, test arrangement, concede card and so forth.) and money related administrations (understudy protection, instructive advance and banking) and so on.
